This led to the realization that the same challenges showing up in her friends' personal finances were showing up in the small and medium sized businesses around her. Their founders had vision but their administrative systems were too weak to support real growth.
Having spent years most of her career in business support agencies working at the intersection of operations, communications, and business development - supporting trade negotiations, coordinated stakeholder initiatives, and helping entrepreneurs prepare for investment, she knew what a well-run business looked like. She could also spot a worn out, overwhelmed leader from a distance.
Today Omeyu Consulting has supported more than 50 businesses, helped secure over BDS 500K in grant financing, developed investor-ready pitch materials, and delivered operational and strategic support across the Caribbean, North America, Canada and Europe.
